you'll be lucky
I have never timed myself, but have a couple of laps with BigD on video at 58secs, so with the geo etc sorted out 57 should be on the cards. Some fast cars on though, at least two 2-11's, Mike's S/C Honda, Andy dependent on car, DaveL, Scott Robson, mass, AlanG, Malcolm in any car, then 265hp Exiges downwards.

Just a pity that we do not have a four hour slot, not much time going to be spent in the pits, hopefully, but plenty of time to blether in the evening.

Looks as if AliC will now get his revenge though.

On an individual basis it works out fine. I often go out from the pits with a similar paced car, normally behind which I enjoy more, then lap together. If it is someone who knows me then we will swap around places just to check that nobody is being held up. The same with a car that is staying behind me, it's not a race so no prob with letting him pass me then following him, if I am quicker I will pass him further on.

I have no interest in running around on my own anymore, it is not going to make me any quicker as I have reached or passed my limit, so much more fun to link up with one or two others. If the track is quiet I will slow down on the straights for a while, or take a trip through the pits and change pax. If it is wet I go out as normal, which is where I think some drivers are missing out, the track can go very quiet whereas it is the ideal time to learn the limits of your car in those conditions, and there will be greater spacing between cars.

I don't think it will be a problem if it is done sensibly, and it will only be at intervals, if it does not work out then we just revert to normal.

I think UJI could well be languishing at the bottom of the power to weight stakes...maybe I should have organised with David to put the rear-cam on mine!

Okay - as it's clear that there's a little trepidation about this (from inside our camp too, I'd add) then let's be clear - No special manoeuvres or dispensation is to be made with regards to David producing this video. Please do not sit behind him if you don't wish to and please don't expect any organised runs - if you're on camera, you're on camera.

OK guys, it was only an idea. It clearly needs some more thought and organisation so lets do it another time.

Well here's the results of the test :blackeye .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDPhE-qao7U

This must be the only trackday where I don't know my lap times, and don't really care :D . It was great fun mixing it a bit more with the traffic. I hope I didn't get in anyone's way as it was difficult to judge the pace. I think the 4 wheel drift around McIntyre's with Tut (13 mins) was about as good as it got :thumbsup

Some good shots of Mass - he was literally all over the place :damnfunny . . . and there's a bit of cross country at 24.15

I've put it together in chronological order and only cut out the empty track bits - enjoy.

Next year maybe do it with a HD camera or even a stills camera :scratch

Love the video!

I have Tut dancing on my video too. Interesting to see the same action from different angles

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

David, a great video, I really enjoyed seeing my car on the track even if it wasn't being driven with sideways enthusiam (a bit rusty if I'm honest so being pretty careful).

I didn't see this thread before, so was a bit confused when you just sat in front of me - blasting off every now and then. Now it all makes sense, I'd have closed a bit more had I realised - good stuff.
