Scotty - could be up for that. I'm struggling for time also. Thinking of heading back on the Friday night also, and drive through the small hours to make Englandshire more palatable.

@Tom - bloody great news! Cant wait to see you again mate :thumbsup

Liking Bennys plan although may have to high tail it from Edinburgh sat night to make Le Mans...
That's very kind Ali :thumbsup I'll be bringing my own car so it's just the hotel room for those 3 nights I need to share.

It sounds like your spare seat might suit Pete better though as he can pax with you all the way down.

Pete, depending on how your plans work out with Mrs Pete I'll either see you there, or if you can't make it I'll share with Ali :cheers

Not sure when more information is available, but if anyone knows anything about which hotels we're staying in please let me know (by PM if it hasn't officially been announced), and I'll look into booking my own room.

Anyone else got a spare bed?

Figured you'd have your car Tom. I wasn't really offering a pax seat as it's usually full with my luggage/tools/spares/helmet, etc.
Plus it's not the most comfortable/sociable!

Not heard of hotels yet but I would think there should be plenty of spare beds on the go. :)

I should've read your/Pete's posts properly... I read Pete mentioning paxing, and missed you saying fly both ways

Like you say, I'm sure I'll find a space somewhere.

Pete, I'm happy to collect you from Le Mans station and drop you off at Dijon station if that helps.

i flew to Paris and then got the train to Le mans when i raced there. Think it was about an hour or so on the train. It was a lot better then driving the 211.

I saw that. Just trying to work out if I can squeeze that in as well seeing as we've got to drive past Spa to get to Le Mans

Very interested in that...it works in pretty well, Fri 2nd and Sat 3rd to leisurely get to Le Mans (although I'd argue it's hardly on the way!).

Would mean a Geordie Express tue 30th.

Just booked Spa :D

Need to check timing but Harwich ferry should be ideal. Straight down the M1 turn left at Stanstead. Did this on the way back from DN7 and it was easy. Otherwise go a day early and do a couple of TF laps on the Wednesday evening and drive to Spa Thurs morning.

Big week for the Frog :D

Bah, does that mean no Geordie express shenanigans for the Spa-ers?

Does the Harwich ferry arrive early?? its still 2.5-3 hrs to spa, so no advantage to Spa??

Going to book Spa now.

Anyone tried the new Avon tyres yet??
