Looks to be about 11-12 people on this thread. Might be worth booking ahead for curry on Sunday night. What sort of time should we do. 7pm or a little earlier? I'll call them today if we get a time sorted.

Don'y mind re: time. There will be two of us.
P.S There is another organiser holding a trackday on Sunday (MSV trackdays) - if one day is not enough!

Great find!
Worth watching the whole thing. Apart from the factory bit at the start. I never knew they raced at Crystal Palace - I grew up there and have been many a time. Looked like a good track! Silverstone looked a bit much for the poor Cortina's tyres though ...
They should bring back the trees. Couple of hay bales will sort that. If it's really dangerous some of that orange danger tape ...
Cheers,
Robin

Check out video at 4.50. I'm glad Oulton has changed some what since 1964. Way too much vertical wood at the side of the track for my liking.
I think that's when men were men and Brainless
PS. nice wee article on the Lotus Cortina

Robin, very generous offer, thanks alot but afraid I am snowed under at work and zero chance of getting away.
Hopefully be able to join you boys for something in the new year.

Well done that man!
No way I'm going to visit a museum. What was I thinking? Curry would be ace though.

I'm coming out of 'retirement' for these.

Won't make it for the meal tomorrow but please count me in for Monday.
See you in the bar or at the track.....
Cheers,
George

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

Is there a special deal for early booking?
