Tut, it just makes more sense to race an S2. Look at Neil's shopping list for hubs and bearings last year.

Meanwhile the 300BHP S2 class C car driven by AJK was trouble free in this respect, and was not driven that much slower around the corners. Neil needs a car that he can drive to the race, race, then drive home, without having to carry:

10 tonne press,
four wheel bearings,
three new hubs,
two spare uprights,
and a partridge in a pear tree.

Guess I should start saving for a cat now then.....have no idea what dB my exhaust is but it's probably too loud for Donny... :roll:

i think thats a safe assessment - that tin can of an exhaust is way too loud!

I thought Kenny's remark was reference Craig going from S1 to S2, but he probably meant Neil.

I have not seen Craig for three months and I missed the thread where he said that he had bought an Exige S.

AJK's main problem was cracking inlet manifolds, in fact quite a few had them with the Link-Up kit, but the DC5 manifold I got with mine is a different design and has not given problems, so owners have been changing to it. Supposedly also gives an extra 10hp.

Tut you missed thrread bout the s2?, ive still got both so no need to panic, im still in norway jsut now burt come round and well have a chat on sat, i should be home on fri. As you knw Ive spent thw last 3 months in either eu (mostly norwyay), Indonesia with lovley Vietnamese or in costadel plymouth as a navyboy, be nice to catch up :D
