Heh, real quality thread drift now!

The door handles are vertical at the rear edge of the door but the pivot point of the handle is towards the front of the car. So imagine you're getting into the drivers side. You have to use your left hand to open the door, unatural and puts you the wrong side of the door for getting in...

If they'd hinged the handle backwards you could use your right hand to open the door and get in normally. Either that or put the handle horizontal as normal...

Other than that, love it. Don't like the front air intake strakes...but my car is black so they disappear. :)

Natural to use you left hand for the passenger side...
Won't go into your sinistrality Mr Boag. Personally I'm ambidexterous. :D

Rats, was going for the double with 'ambidexterous'.

Kinda triggered in my brain by a mate who used 'Sinister' and 'Dexter' for A and B teams...that is heraldic derivation of course but all from the Latin.

Saying that he may have been referring to the comic.

Long live S_E in what ever form...........

And anyway nobody likes to engage in metalexicography - and no, I didn't make that word up, well I did sort of, but it turns out it actually exists.

P.S. Apologies to those unfortunate readers who thought this was a forum about Elises rather than a Radio 4 game show :-)
