Not tried the ZZR's yet but am planning to get a set for this - don't reckon a set of Pirelli Corsas would last a frolic.

Don't have a clue whether I can manage Spa yet but might as well book it and cross my fingers

Hi All

Booked for Spa on the 1st.

Had a look at the Harwich ferry, docks at 7.45, so could be at Spa for 10.30-11.00 so may not be a bad idea??
Or, still go the day before and get mashed on the Geordie Express :cheers

Was going to ask Golding what feedback was like on the ZZR's - going to get a set for the Atom regardless - they cant fail to last longer than A048's do on it!

The Golding verdict on the new Avons;

Depends what you comparing them with – if 48’s

They last longer
Perform consistently – actually get better as get older
Are cheaper
Are faster
Slide more
So far better in wet

Negatives

Cant buy from dealers as they don’t get commission – which is partly why they are cheaper

Nope - fitting them is easy - the man with the tyre van comes by, and voila , i dont even need to go to a garage. Can't imagine there wont be people up for that in your neck of the woods? :thumbsup

Think I'll try a set.

Are Adams and page selling them?

I've not yet booked for Spa, but I probably will. Would be great to meet up where the NewCastle ferry lands in Holland :cheers

Err, I discovered a Tourist rides afternoon @ Nordschleife on friday the 2nd (13:15–19:30). Would be a great way to kill some time before Frolic or extend your trip to Europe. :thumbsup
