lol I think so, unless my weight provides a significant cornering advantage! will have to try the better bluetooth next time and see what I get, although racechrono is pretty cool for a free app, even when using the phone's gps.Dipper wrote:53.9! Holy toot!

Re: SIDC Knockhill Dates for 2013
Glad you all enjoyed the day despite the chilly temperatures!
I'm just home from a long weekend down at Cadwell Park, so will try to get the photos up tomorrow if possible, as I've got a ton of stuff to sort out today.
Cheers
John

2-11 features ~7.30. Half a hot lap then cool down...

The Audi was mightily impressive.

Car was going really well Mike, enjoyed my pax laps, thanks.Mike Scib wrote:Great fun yesterday, really enjoyed the condtions as the wet patches made it more interestingLittle bit rusty as its been a few years since i was on track in a RWD car....infact it was my Elise!
My £15 pikey rear pads last a grand total of about 200 miles and now through to the backing plate! Ordered a set of DS2500 as was very impressed with them on my Trophy. Also might need to invest in some new suspension to as the dampers are getting a little tired![]()
Great fun anyway and looking forward to the next
Dampers didn't feel too bad but I'm no expert. The car was very stable and planted, impressive.
Is there an option to put a thicker ARB on, may be cheaper than suspension? Might stop the dive at the rear? Although it wasn't anywhere near as bad as your last one.

The OSF damper is leaking and guessing the others are not far behind! Problem with fitting some Coilovers is that it might take the fun away
My last car was on 16" alloys with 225/50 tyres this one has the facelift 17's with 255/40's, wonder how much of a difference that makes?

Mike, my 2p. Don't use pikey pads

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

I heard there was a female passenger involved and the driver admitted to physics overcoming talent.
Full marks for honesty if you ask me....
I would have gone for driver excuses 56 (a through f).... The driver in front lifted, so I did the same and with hitting a damp patch (fnar fnar) and having the engine behind the driver the car snapped to irreversible lift-off oversteer, which due to the speed of the rack I was not able to correct quickly enough so rather than cause an accident decided to let the catching car behind pass by taking to the infield. Unfortunately due to the poor condition of the infield I was unable to safely continue so stopped and waited for assistance.....

Re: SIDC Knockhill Dates for 2013
Was me and my first off at KH and I basically ran out of talent
Also was my first time out in the elise on track. Tbh I was indeed being a bit of a tool by progressively seeing how far I could get the back out on that wet patch, gave too much throttle and caught the wheel but needed more tarmac to sort it out. I have been at worse angles in the mx5 on a wet knockhill and managed to bring it back. The snow sucked me in and left the car beached, I tried to get down the hill but wheels did nothing.
I didn't think KH would have liked it much if I had started shredding the run off area trying to get out so decided to wait for a tow... sorry for the hold up guys

Tried to put a video on you tube, this was with the gtr to a couple laps then the throttle failed again thankfully managed to coast to the pits!
