Best sit this one out and book on to one that either quieter or doesn't have the time trialers going.

Sorry if I have not been paying attention, but what is the time attack thing mentioned above? Would timing at a track day not invalidate most track day insurance?

I hope they also have to follow the same overtaking rules as the rest of us. I still consider myself a track novice (only my 3rd trackday) and so won't be too happy about them coming flying up behind me sideways to overtake on a bend!

I'm with you on that one Desmond... don't want to have to keep jumping out of the way of an 850bhp monster every few laps!!!

They will have to abide by SIDC rules and etiquette just like everyone else.

Must admit, even as a reasonably experienced trackdayer, it did cross my mind that they could be a bit aggressive on track but thats not giving them the benefit of the doubt. I am sure they will be quickly brought into line if they start treating it as a race session.

2. people doin some insane overtakes
AND
3. Gary on track..........

Might leave it till another time!

And the BBC weather site says sunny all day on Saturday now, rather than the rain all day another site says.

Looking forward to keeping AndyG in sight through the corners on my new Yoko 48's (or at least trying to).

These forecasts really are a joke.

Within a few hours, Dunfermline goes from cloudy with rain, to a big golden sun.
