Best sit this one out and book on to one that either quieter or doesn't have the time trialers going.

I hope they also have to follow the same overtaking rules as the rest of us. I still consider myself a track novice (only my 3rd trackday) and so won't be too happy about them coming flying up behind me sideways to overtake on a bend!ed wrote:Is a competion thats happening in the afternoon. I'm with you on that one Desmond... don't want to have to keep jumping out of the way of an 850bhp monster every few laps!!!dezzy wrote:I hope they also have to follow the same overtaking rules as the rest of us. Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....
They will have to abide by SIDC rules and etiquette just like everyone else.DDtB wrote:I'm with you on that one Desmond... don't want to have to keep jumping out of the way of an 850bhp monster every few laps!!!dezzy wrote:I hope they also have to follow the same overtaking rules as the rest of us. Must admit, even as a reasonably experienced trackdayer, it did cross my mind that they could be a bit aggressive on track but thats not giving them the benefit of the doubt. I am sure they will be quickly brought into line if they start treating it as a race session.

My first trackday could have
1. plenty of rain (from some forecasts) Most forecasts are good
2. people doin some insane overtakes That might happen but wont continue for long
AND
3. Gary on track.......... nope
Might leave it till another time!
no excuses, you must be close to a place by now.
