Can't help with finding one but if you can't i wouldn't worry. Just fit the front one and you should be fine. :D

If by any chance you do end up in the gravel, which you won't (unless you drive as badly as mckeann), the tow truck guys might say something daft like 'can i put a rope round the suspension strut to pull you out? '. This would be a very bad idea, but i wouldn't have expected it. ive not gone off yet on my own, and i've only done a few track days, but if theyd said that to me i might have naively thought they knew what they were talking about and let them yank it out. i think the embarrasment of stopping a session  would have let me do something daft(like ropes round suspension).

Basically, if you do end up in the gravel, don't let the tow guys hussle you.

Is that a fair comment anyone??

yes,

if you do go off and need towed out backwards, then it takes less than 30 seconds to remove the rear toes eyes from my car and fit them to yours.

or a better idea, is to always go in backwards, and make use of the front toeing eye.

or an even better idea is to keep your foot in and drive thru the gravel and continue on with style,

or the best idea is not to spin.

If you need towed out backwards (in an S1) pop off the roll bar cover and take out the rear window. They can wrap a strap over the roll bar. I actually take my rear window out anyway, in case of flying stones. Saves a bit o weight too ;)

i think he has an S2, which is why i didnt mention that one. in his case, as all S2's understeer, he'd be better keeping his foot down and driving thru

I do have an S2 , it does not oversteer which is a good as in hindsight I would have been in the bushes by now.

Feck and Arse.

I'll still be in work when the briefing is on (and smartarses please shut up about sickies and taking an hour off - not in this job matey)

It's the reason I don't do 90% of the TD's I want to. Evening ones would be great for me, apart from the timing....

so realistically then..... what's the latest one could arrive and still go on track.....

i.e. if I get there for 6 and have missed the 1st briefing... can I get a quick mini briefing and go straight out..?? - hypothetically...

Dave.
