Would be nice but that's a wee bit away yet although I will be interested to see the results of Craigs when he is finished with his 280 upgrade.
Ohlins and bigger brakes are at the top of the wish list.

Kenny

He is hoping for 310hp.

His Intercooler is being made at the moment, Wayne only has the Gotham map for 290 in the ECU at the moment, but will upgrade it later.

.......it's getting so predictable but ok then.

Yes if you had 310bhp I probably wont be lapping you in a single track session

good day yesterday chaps!

Atom was fixed and flying when it dried. The lack of weight seemed to be the main diff between the Atom and Scottys 340rr. I think its shaping up to be a good summer - loved it. Top effort on the rebuild Scotty!

My mates had a good laugh and Russ's M5 seemed to be going well as he learnt the track and it dried.

Thanks to all for being such a good laugh and welcoming to them.

One of my other Edinburgh based friends who came up, in Nicks 111r, is now sold and wants to buy one too - so SE will have a new recruit, and as Hugh already tracks his bike, he'll soon be another SE track slut

Jon's 7 looked sweet - couldn't persuade him to venture on to the track though - next time mate :cheers

Thanks also to Ali for checking the atom over for me - think i may have warped the rear disc with the bearing collapse.

Funny story from they way up - wondered who this w***er in the outside lane holding up the Atom & M5 late convoy was - only to find out it was Jamie A :damnfunny - i'll get you out in the Atom next time mate :thumbsup

Didn't want you bending the Atom before you even got to the track so thought I would keep you back at a 'barely socially acceptable speed'

Hey there

Did anyone catch one of me and Scotty ragging it up the main straight?

Would have liked to have seen a photo of that?

Has anyone seen my 3rd gear???????

Great day on saturday. The weather could have been better, found it very slippy but great fun.It was good to see the driving standards were as high as ever. Big thanks to john for organising the event. Everything ran like clockwork. I think John should be brought in to run the hot marques for knockhill.

I did manage to leave my 3rd gear somewhere along the back straight though. Luckily i already have a 6 speed gearbox being built as i knew the 5 speed box was not strong enough for the engine.

Was a great day on Saturday, thanks to John even with 60 odd cars I still found some empty track and never really had to wait more then a couple of minutes to get on track (apart from red flag), nice to have a car for the wet and the dry.

Was really weird going from the Cup with ABS, wet tyres & traction (when it was wet) to the 340r, suspension set very firm, 38’s etc. I found it very hard to gauge the grip level in the 340r, especially under braking. I ended up taking 8 clicks of the Nitrons. As for power the 340 now has 222 bhp (up 10) and has 30 lb torq at 5700, you can really feel the difference. Had a couple of cup v 340r blast’s up the straights and the 340r is quicker.

Was good to get a few laps with Tut and Andy and the 360 before I passed him (need a scalping sticker for the side of the 340r).

Can wait for Speedfair in a couple of weeks. Just need to sort a few niggles.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.
