Looking forward to this now, car has just been given a quick wash but no doubt by the time I get there it'll be filthy again...
Happy to pax with/take people out in my car if anyone fancies, I'm no expert but can try and pass on what I've picked up! As mentioned before, it's actually a better introduction in many ways than Knockhill as you're the only car on track, you can drive round at the pace you feel comfortable at and never have to worry about holding anyone up. The 2 I've been at so far have been great fun and a really relaxed atmosphere
See you all in the morning

Great day, thanks for all the pax laps for Pauline, Martin and myself. Also thanks to all those who were brave enough to have a pax with me, what with this being my first time on the track. Kames is brilliant will be back again
Cheers for the shot John - a Caterham is the next thing on my wish list!
Cheers,
Stuart

Another great (if wet) day at Kames and another satisfied customer
Learnt lots more about the car and about my driving (i think i can safely upgrade myself from sh*t to average

) also took some brave pills and turned off the (astra 2-channel) ABS and realised that I really don't need it unless it's pishing down !
Looking forward to the next one, and to taking this new found confidence onto KH
EDIT : was really quite glad i have a "proper" car to drive home

Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

Excellent first time at Kames
Comedy moment was the BMW Police car difting around a corner flat chat right in front of me could have easily been from Police camera action as they tried to catch an atom
Felt like I was on it from the first lap - what a difference a set of 48s make
Also manage a lovely 360 when I got a rear on the gravel
Last but not least big thank you to Andy for the Pax and being brave enough to hand me the keys to the Atom after he had binned my car in the gravel

Nice to chat to some of you at Kames today, and thanks once again for all the pax rides/helmet loans.
And a special thanks to Paul for looking after Cameron.......next time I'm stuck for a babysitter I'll know who to call
My first time at Kames but it's a great little track and I'll definitely be back only next time I'll be out on the track rather than just spectating. Need to go and buy myself a helmet now.
