Is anyone staying for the Sunday? At £105 I could be easily persuaded to stay the extra day if there's a group staying on

I won't risk the stress on UJI, particularly since it's going to be subjected to a Walshy Day on the Thursday now as well :D

So, unless the Sat is a washout at the track (literally), I think we'll be seriously homeward bound before you Sunday (track) Drivers get out of bed ;-)

The classic interpretation of blitzkrieg is that of German tactical and operational methodology in the first half of the Second World War that was often hailed as a new method of warfare. The word, meaning "lightning war", in its strategic means is associated with a series of quick and decisive short battles to deliver a knockout blow to an enemy state before it could fully mobilize. The tactical meaning of blitzkrieg involves a coordinated military effort by tanks, mobilized infantry, artillery and aircraft, to create an overwhelming local superiority in combat power, to overwhelm an enemy and break through its lines.[7][8] Blitzkrieg as used by Germany had considerable psychological, or as some writers call, "terror" elements, such as the noise-making propellers on the Junkers Ju 87 dive-bombers to affect the morale of enemy forces.[Notes 1] The devices were largely removed when the enemy became used to the noise, after the Battle of France in 1940, bombs sometimes having whistles attached instead.[13][14] It is also common for writers to include psychological tactics behind the line, using Fifth columnists to spread rumours and untruths among the civil population in the theatre of operations.[7]

Your spending all that cash, whats another 100 quid. You'll be pretty pissed if it rains all day saturday, and you go home, and it dries up on sunday. go on go on go on. You have all winter to fix anything that wears out.

If it rains on Saturday, it's just a great opportunity to learn. If they close the track, c'est la vie. Wonder what the refund / credit situation is in those circumstances.

Alternative perspectives, like you said before :-)

i cant see them closing the track unless it snows. I agree that a wet track is a great place to learn, and of course both days could be a washout, i just think for the sake of 100 quid its worth a punt

Means arriving home at 5am on the Monday morning. I can't spare another day off, sadly. I've got to think of Lisa and the kids, when I turn up like a half-shut knife just in time for the school run, and the aftermath of the next couple of days to recover!

On top of the wear and tear for the Elise, which as I say is already spiking with the Walshy day added on. I can't afford to be greedy. Remember, the car is 11 years old, on Metro hubs etc. It's not some newfangled, super-hero S2 ;-)

Guys,

I'm doing the Sat and Sunday, anyone got a recommendation for lodgings at Spa?

I was thinking about taking the tent until snow was mentioned. Cheap and cheerful is good.
