Gentle bump BTTT for this - Will be booking the curry at the end of this month / very start of November, in order to give the restaurant a
little bit of notice...
So far, for the meal booking we have:
1. Ross
2. Robin
3. Mr. Boag
4. tut
5. Andy G
6. Stu P.
7. Shooomer
Any more, for any more?
(Appreciate there'll be the odd cancellation / additional diner, but I'll factor that in when I book).

Totally understand the position, Ross. However if I had to offer a decision today it would need to be "no". Happy if you need to plan on that basis.
Assessment is ongoing, however, and end of the month was pretty much when I was going to make a final call on the trip.

No worries - Not looking for a final commitment today, but more a rough idea on numbers...If there's only 8-10 of us, there's no immediate rush to make a reservation, as I'd imagine they'd accommodate that easily; if 25-30 commit, I'd be best giving them a week or two's notice.
The bump was to highlight I'd be making the booking in a couple of weeks.

I probably will not be arriving in "Cheshire-shire" until about 9pm on the 17th.
Some kind soul has put a 1700 hr Slough meeting in my diary...........In the meantime I have booked a stateroom at the Premier Lodge
I will either catch up with you.......if you're having your Bumburners earlier............or I'll see you at the Bar (I hope it's got a fooking bar!!)

Actually thinking about the best time to book the 'Bumburner' for - If people are arriving at the hotel between 7 and 8pm (It's around four and bit hours from central Scotland / maybe seven from Aberdeen?), perhaps 8 - 8:30pm for dinner?
(Wouldn't want to leave it too late to eat).
Any thoughts / opinions?

Sounds about right Ross, never went in for early dinners. The Spanish have the right idea.
Not sure what the run down plans are, but I can leave home at anytime, so plan to be in the Hotel by 1900. May even drive by Davenham to look at the old family house.

I can leave anytime, and was thinking about getting there about 7, so could meet up on the way if you want.
