Lot's of work going on a KH with new fencing and gravel traps, rumour's were that the track would be run in the opposite direction. Spotted this last night http://trackdays.knockhill.com/trackday.php although a Hot Hatch night (not for the faint hearted  ) hopefully a future fixture for SIDC/Hot Marques, would certainly give the track a new dimension :thumbsup

Cheers, doing no bad yourself mate. :thumbsup

It seems that there has been a bit of demand for reverse trackdays. Hopefully they will run a couple of non-hot hatch events.

Great job as usual John,

thanks for accommodating for my late entry, and for the brilliant pictures :-)

Brilliant track day, it was good to get the big zed on track, but I'm not sure if it will be repeated i enjoyed seeing what it can do, but i couldn't help thinking that i would have been having far more fun in the E30!!!

I enjoyed playing with some of the bigger boys this time though as the pace on the fast sections was immense!! I'm seriously impressed with the speed of the zed, but it was lacking on a few things (and possibly just because I'm so used to the E30)

it could do with proper track tyres, better brakes (i kept cooking them, and that was with yellow pads, and rbf 660 fluid!) it needs a little castor+camber adjustment with offset front wishbone bushes to dial out the understeer, and it was also really strange no being strapped into a bucket seat on track - you have to work so much harder!! lol

however, awesome day in all, excellent driving standards from all present, and really good to see how some people's confidence has grown!!

i must say that the drive home.... was so much fun, thanks tut for leading over some immense roads, and well done to easty (jamie) for keeping up in the Clio!!

The run back was awesome. Thanks Clark, it was bloody hard work keeping up at times but the wee Clio done well. Really is an absolute hoot to throw around, although maybe not as much fun as that Zed of yours 8)

Hopefully catch up with some of you's again on Sunday.

Kept checking my mirrors Jamie expecting to have to slow down for you to catch up, but it never seemed to happen.

I kept the top speed down as it is all about the bends, but I think your tractor beam was hooked on to the BM.
