It was good fun but there is just no finesse to it if you want it to play, so back to Elise/VX ownership it is :blackeye

First batch of photos uploaded to Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 068&type=1

Can't tag any of the drivers at the moment due to a Facebook bug, so hopefully someone else can maybe tag a few?

Part II to upload shortly.....

The facebook photos should be visible without an account :)

You just won't be able to comment on them etc.

better late than never... just wanted to add my thanks for an awesome day.

Expectations were low given it always rains at knockhill + no trackdays for 4 years + 5 year old tyres + a car that hadn't really been used for 4 years too.... but pleased to say it turned out to be epic and far exceeded expectations!! A large part of that was down to the laps in the last session with istoo. Think I spent about 40 mins on the track in that session and grinned the whole time. It's getting rarer to find a similarly powered car on track these days with all the V6s appearing etc and that last session was the best fun I've had on track in years. Probably since Ledenon lapping with the Rolfe!

Thanks again to Craig/Brandy and the MMC team for rebuilding the shed too...

Found the love again. The S1 makes so much sense as soon as it sees a track. Roll on the Frolic!!

Now to add a few pics to the basket... been meaning to do that for a while so when you see Tut Towers 2010 pics being bought John, it's not a mistake.. it's just me finally getting round to it!!

Oh and Jim... if you have a copy of that one of me going up the main straight you could send me... it would be much appreciated.

Here's to the next one.. :thumbsup

Cheers,

Dave.
:cheers

Only just got around to uploading some of the videos I took on Saturday.

As always I'm open to hearing comments or feedback so that I can improve my driving. From the look of it I think I'm turning in too early on the majority of corners? Any help much appreciated :thumbsup Oh and apologies for the wind noise, I had the wrong door fitted on the camera - also, they are unedited as I'm very very lazy :(

Video 1: Trying to keep Martins Exige in view (and failing miserably!)

Video 2: Got some nice clear track so just had fun lapping by myself.

To echo what Dave said, I really love the S1, just goes to show how much fun you can have with 118 bhp :) Having said that I'm finding it harder and harder to resist an S2 Exige.....considering I still have a long way to go to get the best out of the S1 perhaps I should just concentrate on becoming a better driver first!

As always, good to meet and catch up with people, many thanks for the great day John.

-Mark.
