druids is probably the worst corner in the UK for serious offs. This event last year there were 5 cars in the barriers.

I'm not sure why there is different tarmac at druids, its certainly less grippy than the stuff they use elsewhere.

I jacked it in at about 3.30.

I was feeling really rusty all day (2 times on track in 2 years) and struggling to get much grip with the wooden tyres on the Elise SC. Druids was really funny, terminal understeer and then sideways over the bump. I really enjoyed attacking the chicanes but I'm not sure the suspension appreciated it

Just as well I stopped early because as soon as I moved the car I heard that metal against metal noise from the front n/s disc.............................

Drove home to a bottle of chilled champagne, trying not to brake

Will be back with a vengeance next year.
