If you do track days then Spa is the track to do before you die kinda thing.

Thats a shedload of cash for a spa trackday, assuming it was a dover ferry not a rosyth one, and u werent staying in the penthouse suite of a 5 star hotel?

With LoT, trackday is approx 200 each, ferry is 50, 2 nights in a reasonable hotel is 120. 570 all in. Off course, by the time u add petrol, tyres, brakes, toe links, food and beer, your looking at 1500

The track days were £250 each, hotel was a 4 star Raddison Hotel in Spa itself(very swish) and ferry was from Hull to Rotterdam(£338). Taking fuel into account it was about the same as you, £1500.

Going with Circuit-days again this year but they're not doing the all inclusive so will save some cash by organising B+B rather than hotel etc.

I'd bet McApe needs to allow more than most for "...petrol, tyres, brakes, toe links, food and beer" though!
Newcastle-Amsterdam overnight ferry has better timings and is cheaper than Hull. Cheaper still to go Dover and do it in one go. :)

There is an Exiges.com trip to Spa (2 days) plus 'Ring and Zandvoort in August...(think Spa is BaT).

I seriously considered that but I'm booked for Anglesey on Sat 3rd, bit of a stretch to get back in time (but do-able by the channel ports) and would miss the 'Ring. Hoping LoT will do one close to one of the LCE rounds either at Zolder (mid Sept) or Spa (start of Oct). :thumbsup
