I think that's a good plan, however I couldn't see ANY Oulton dates on the LoT schedule? Get the impression Paul is looking to the continent a lot more.

Based on the re-selling hunch, it does look like this is actually an Easytrack day - http://www.easytrack.co.uk/product/Oult ... _COP031210

There are limited dates up for next year as they are still tbc after the race series get there calendars sorted out. I would expect there to be 50 or so uk days with lot next year

Yup - Paul has offloaded the UK side to someone who's looking to push even more TDs next year, if their chat is to be believed. LoT UK should be even stronger next year with someone who's UK based and focused, as Paul had become (understandably) less so.

Sorry, getting over-familiar there!

Anyway it's all pretty airy-fairy for me. Neil was nearly right...one sniff of a European trackday and I'm going nuclear, however the reality is that I'll be lucky to put the money in to UJI's refurb over the winter never mind rag it around the tracks next year, so I'm just going to clamber back in my box and watch you guys enjoying yourselves instead :-)

I may, of course, cook up a cunning plan to try to share a vehicle with Saint Bob if there is a good value event that floats his boat ;-)

And so you have, Saint Neil :thumbsup Forgive the blurred memory...it's been quite a week!!

As you can imagine, it meant a great deal to be able to take my own car to Spa (and back!) but I'm trying to be a wee bit less precious about more "regular" tracks. Especially if it makes the difference between bowing out another epic event...as we saw, the social antics count as much if not more than the track nonsense, and my social life has been mostly on hold for 5 years

But with Eilidh at school now and James growing up fast ( again) the pressure is easing a wee bit at home I think.

And since I have fallen back in love with UJI :love I don't want to destroy the poor vehicle with too much track abuse. Although as I'm sure I'll be reminded, my track driving style can hardly be regarded as abuse...

Well well, let's just see what 2011 holds, eh.

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).
