Both, ditched one for the other.

Sandie thought too much of herself and just treated me like a puppet on a string, whereas Helen used to have me walking back to happiness.

Thanks Ross - you must be older than you look. :D

Robin,

Pete and I are heading off from Stirling around 3pm.
Still haven't booked accomodation but it will most likely be the Alvaney Arms or Premier Inn Sandiway.
I'll pm our mobile numbers so we can meet for a beer if you're down in time.
Otherwise see you at the circuit :thumbsup

Hi,

Got here thanks of more MMC magic (forgot I had no MOT or tax until yesterday ;-)). Unfortunately the alternator now appears to have gone on strike in sympathy with the old starter ... sheesh ... anyway will see what's what tomorrow but will either be doing the battery shuffle all day with a willing victim (Kevin/Pete, you've been warned!) or just bailing out and heading home with the RAC.

Cheers,
Robin

It should not be too bad Robin if you do 30 min track stints, then 20 mins on jump leads.
Better than driving back from the Ring without an alternator.

Before the end of the session call the RAC in plenty of time, then drive to the Shell S/S or the Premier Inn at Sandiway and get a low loader ride home.

ps:- any chance it could be the good old burnt out connector?

Met Robin at the track for signing and to find out what he had decided to do.
We worked out three options
1. send Egor home on low loader and share 2cars between 3 at the track.
2.Play battery shuffle at the track then send egor home on low loader
3. play battery shuffle all day and all the way home.
We all agreed on 3, that way Robin could get the full track day and get back home without the hassle of getting
the car uplifted.
Worked out well as we all got full day at track with only 3 swaps of battery and made it home with another 4 swaps .
Oulton was brilliant, stayed dry all day , the track was very grippy, a varied group of cars made it interesting from ultra quick to
very slow .
My 1st time there and must rank up there with one of the best tracks, hope I can get back again this year.
Pete
