I'm booked.
Tut, flight ABZ to CDG then TGV connection (3 hour proper high speed train!) to Avignon is about 180 quid!
Just been looking as an option for nicola to join.

If you look up Orange in google maps, that gives you and idea of where it is, there is also a track guide in LOT as well which i think gives you map of all tracks. It is best to get the tag, i still have mine from the last time, its only about £8 a year to keep it going.
Its a lot of driving, but soooooo worth it.
Hope to come back Via the Alps this time, if we have any tour guides going, really feel i missed out on that.
Cant wait.

Do I have to pay a years membership to Lotus on Track before I can book?
Has anyone a map to where the tracks are in France and has everyone got motorway toll windscreen tag devices?
Steve.

Paul Ricard is near Marseilles.
Not sure on the membership Steve, might need a LoT track day or 2 under your belt?

And secure bottles of Evian in scaffolding cars as running over them is sub optimal for traction and soaks those behind!

Ledendon was the best track I've ever done... Elise is working again... This could be a sign...

What would be the crack in getting down there??
You couldn't do Scotland to orange in a day could you?
Breaking up the trip in Nancy on the other frolic was cracking, especially for Golding

1500 miles to Aberdeen, certainly won't be driving back in a oner like last frolic. OK, not quite a oner, plenty of "Pee" breaks etc.

The usual options I guess, Drive to chunnel and stay over on south coast or Northern France then drive down the next day.
Or
Drive to Ferry (Geordie or cheaper Hull Ferry which takes you to Zeebrugge) then drive down to Orange on day 2.
I like the ferry option as its slightly less driving, misses the M25 and always a laugh on the boat but the Chunnel is convenient.
Either way I'll definitely be doing it in 2 stints as last time I did it in one I was knackered for the trip, never catch up.

Always wanted to do one of these and this could be the best opportunity for me.
