Hi Brian - I did pop up from about 2.30pm till 5pm, but had that age old problem of not having a clue what you looked like and every time I saw you near your car in the pits, you had your helmet on and were heading out for another session

Managed to get a few pics of you and some of the other Elises on track battling with those off road buggy things! Do yopu know who was in the Black S2 on the track? Spotted him at Kinkardine on the way home.

I'll no doubt be back at KH in the not too distant future. Once I replace the brakes, I'll get the VX back on the track too!

I'll try and post up the pictures when I get in tonight, they aren't great, but I've managed worse.

I made it up and saw three blue VX's (a turbo and two NA's)- I take it one of them was you John? Although as pointed out, none were on track.
Not going to list all the Elises/Exiges as I'd be here all day!

Does anyone know the red S1 who came off? It looked like it was just cosmetic damage (although it was both clams and down the sill!) but just wanted to know if the car was ok.

The guy showboating in the Black M3 CSL made my day, and the guy in the 07 plate Impreza RB whatsit has to get the award for worst lines at the hairpin. Watched him do 6 or 7 laps in a row where he understeered like a biatch from entry to exit!

Oh, and did anyone else see the really hot bird who managed to bin the skid pan Vectra into a ditch on the skid control course!?

Steve - was that your LY with the personal plate? Thought it might have been Craig's, but couldn't see him around (which might explain things!

). LazyDonkey was around briefly (didn't spot him either - just his car) and the other VX was mine. No idea who had the 56 plate blue Turbo, but it was looking very shiny!

Saw the guy in the RB320 Impreza and his unreal lines at the hairpin. At one point, he totally misjudged his braking and nearly went into the back of the 350Z before ending up in the gravel

Was chatting to the owner's girlfriend after and she said the car is only 3 weeks old... and that the owner previously had an Elise and an M3.

The CSL was very impressive too, but it couldn't catch the old 911RS despite the driver's best efforts.

Yeah that was me with the LY. Craigs is also a 'C' plate but he was on his way to Teeside so couldn't make it.

Didn't see Lazy's car, just a Y-plate with red calipers and one with a private plate (SOH) at the end with turbo wheels on (and a bloody loud custom lookinh exhaust). Which was yours?

And how could I forget that 350Z

What a lot of noise and 'show' for very little forward motion. I believe it's supercharged!? I'm afraid a standard coupe score way more cool points than that mate!

Mine was the y plate with the red calipers (previous owners idea, not mine

). Lazy's car has a private plate, but it ends ORN. Didn't see the one with the custom exhaust.

At the last HM day, the 350Z was running 550bhp, spitting flames and going pretty damn fast. I spoke to the owner and he said that it had been running more power but that he had detuned it. On that day he managed to strip 3 or 4 supercharger belts! It certainly looked slower yesterday. The guy also has a coupe version which I think is due to get a twin turbo conversion shortly.

John you must have been seeing things as I ended up getting slaughtered in Inverness on sat night and didn't leave til 5ish !

SOH is JohnnyMito on the VX forum and his exhaust is an ear bleedingly loud Regal ! Mind you it's his mate with the 350Z so when competing with that then you've got to have a loud zaust.

That puts my mind to rest then! I thought it odd that I had seen Craig's car (which turned out to be Steve's!) and your car (turned out to be Johnny's) and didn't manage to see either you or Craig!!

Only saw Johnny's car from a distance and spotted the front grille which I assumed was yours, but I did see Johnny chatting to the 350Z owner.

I was up there for a look as well in the S1 Exige. Managed to get some pax laps in the silver F355 Spider. Looked like a good day out.

Jim was that your silver Exige sitting beside the detailing world exhibition thing?

Didnt actually notice a black s1

although I did have a good nosey at the 06 Black 111R with red interior that was on track. It looked nice but could have done with a louder exhaust

Hi Jim,

You should have said hello!

Agree the car is a bit quiet when you're at trackside. I've sent an email to Jim at 2bular tonight, so watch this space. What exhaust do you have on your 111R? My mate was out for a pax with Brian in his Exige and I was surprised how quiet it was at full tilt.

I would have said Hello but you were always in conversation and I felt a bit like a suspicious lurker after a while

Have to say that the red did look

in the black car.

Mine has the Stage 2 exhaust and Pipercross Viper Induction. I had it fitted from new so dont really know how it compares to standard from the drivers seat.

It did seem like a good day out tho
