For other reasons I won't be on track on Friday - but I'm happy to pax with any of the newer drivers and offer some hints - not that I can bring much to the party - but the offer is there.

if anyone is wondering, my colleague Gillian was the one that donated the whole five pounds.
she meant to donate to my page

and on the subject of my page, ive broke my target of a hundred quid! and ive a few still to come in

its actually been really hard convincing people to donate - Ive had loads of "you want me to pay you to race your car round a track...?" and " i usually just delete any emails of people asking for money - regardless of who they are!"

I do think we'll raise quite a bit on the day though - looking forward to it even though my car is dead to the world at the moment - lets hope a new battery will get me through the day at least!

We should be able to squeeze him on. That'll be the last though.

To be clear:

Anyone donating to the justgiving page from now on is not guaranteed a track place. The day is technically full. If you donate and you can't get a place, we can't refund any money - we never see it, it goes straight to Marie Curie.

Need to make that clear. That also applies to anyone who can't make it - there are no refunds, as you're not paying us for anything, you're donating 100% of the money straight to Marie Curie.
