I am hoping the weather is good for the run down as well

I was planning on making my way back to the premier at Oulton for a third night, as i dont fancy a run all the way home after Anglesey. Anyone else for a relaxing night in the pub??

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how strict the noise police are at Oulten and Anglesey. Can't be bothered swopping my 2bular for a standard box, but then again my 2ubular is quite noisy and I won't want to fall foul of the noise police after travelling so far.

Your thought's would be most welcome.

Cheers

At Oulton - very.

Anglesey - no experience.

But if you get set for Oulton then I am certain Anglesey will not turn you away!

This is worth getting right. Think Big D has been blackballed and Stevie from the NESE crew had a day cut very short too.

Both are 105db static. Need to be pretty damn noisy to fail.

I have a very small 2bular and sports cat on the 211 which tested at 97db at Spa. Neil has a noisy Exige and was also OK.

Heh, steve b's 'lethal' exhaust could be heard in other counties/countries and iirc measued 125db...

I have seen a couple of surprising fails at Oulton
The Coxster came close last year and it is not loud in comparison to others.
(Andy modified his shed a few years back after a fail with a jaunty piece of extra piping )

I would take some packing to stuff down the tailpipe - and immediately remove after test

:cheers

I tried that Ian but they tested me again and didn't let me on. Worst track day ever that one. I think I had 3 or 4 laps in total. Put me off Oulton, great track as it is.

If you car makes more noise than that you'll not hear them telling you to go home anyway

All bike days at OP have been dropped to 102 db this year. Better check with the circuit to be sure.

Bike days there have lower 102 db limit.

105 for cars:

They didn't even check mine
The 92db drive by limit at Oulton could be a problem. I got black flagged at Zandvoort for registering 95db on the drive by and that was with the exhaust the Grahams got now...

Thanks Neil, think I'll swap it over at the weekend just incase. Not a lot of work to save the possibility of getting black flagged.

Cheers

Yep, for the distance you are going, not really worth the risk. They are really tight on this at OP and also have noise curfews IIRC. Anyone would think we were trying to have fun...
