French Frolic 8 - Can we go yet !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: French Frolic 8 - Dover accommodation
Gents - regarding the brunch BBQ next Saturday.
I'm going to have to cancel it.
My Aunty, who has been suffering with MND, passed away at the weekend, and the funeral is in Glasgow next Saturday at 11.30am.
I'll be heading to that, and then making my way south, so apologies, and will catch you all at some stage in the south.

Re: French Frolic 8 - Dover accommodation
No probs mate, sorry to hear it.
I'll be at MMC on the Saturday morning so suggest the rest of us now meet up and set off from there. I mentioned before that Craig Moncrieff had kindly offered that anyone else going on the trip is welcome to a free check over before departure (best give him a call to confirm if you want a check).
Not sure what time suits but maybe aim to leave at 1100?

I'll be driving down Craig - leaving Newburgh 7ish if you want to convoy (would mean mooching around MMC with me for a couple of hours). I'm sure Graeme won't have many Evora test drives booked for 9am on a Saturday...r10crw wrote:Ill be there Ali, are you getting a lift down or do you need one?

Installed yesterday: new tyres front and rear, R888's, they should be alright for a week of fun
Yep they should, as we're not passing Mount Ventoux this year and I drive like a twat anyway.
Joing me from Holland will be Herman with his modified VXT. BigD might remember the chap that crashed his car at Zandvoort on a "driving fun" trackday. He's been modifying since.http://www.speedsterclub.nl/phpBB2/view ... &start=555
can we go now?

So I though I'll let you guys know, that I've taken this option. cheers Ed, I feel sorry you can't be there.ed wrote:Dodgy has one of the beds on our room at the ring and ive offer the other one to Abz-elise. Dominique, your next on the list if he doesnt want it.

Will play it by ear, either A68, A1/M1 or across to Moffat and down. Either way OK for Birmingham.wheelie wrote: Which way are you heading down ?
