Pedro, both Dreadnought and HM are fine.

There are some idiot drivers but soon you will know what they drive and deal with them accordingly. Its the speed sunday you MUST avoid at all cost.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Another cracking SIDC day. Driving standards were as high as ever. Actually quite enjoy the half wet half dry sessions. You get a bit of a laugh drifting in the wet stuff. Much easier for us 4wd guys! And then some serious speed when it drys out. I also think it will be a bit easier in the car.

Good to catch up with you guys again. And nice to have so many of you asking about the gearbox. Always nice to know people take notice of your posts.

I think ill have to get myself booked onto the HM session in july. I cant wait till the end of august for a proper track session. And i cant think of a better way to spend my birthday.

Mrtoad- Wellcome, looks like im not the only red classic impreza on here now. At least yours is a wagon or things might get confusing.

Belated thanks to John for a good day with impeccable manners on track from everyone.

As someone said, when it's wet to start, you forget just how fast you can go in the dry. Once up to speed, enjoyed a chase with a Caterham (xxxFLT?) And then a great three Exige train of Clarkie, Mass and me for several laps. Great fun :)

why avoid Speed Sundays? - I was planning to go to have a little go on 6th July - went up to view the track evening on 26th and looked pretty good, and well behaved??

Hey Bone

With Mass on this one - i bought a sheddy bmw to do the speed sundays at one stage, and it was nearly tagged multiple times.

Hot Marques are the Knockhill organised ones to do - 19th July is the next one. SIDC are the best. ( followed closely by the AMP3 charity track outings  )

Evening wise - keep an eye out for posts - trackday scotland are good.

Just heard that the last Glenrothes night was a bit dodgy, i didn't attend, but my Uncle said he'd never seen so many cars off in a session.

The 26th was a HM not Speed Sunday (or indeed Thursday). I was on track and it certainly was quiet, everyone well behaved, not a Rage buggy in sight. One red flag only when a chap went over the crest in Duffus with a Civic R a tad too hot and binned it into tyres on the inside (it'll T-cut out).
Never been to a Speed Sunday but from vids and reports, clientele not the same and will be much busier.

clientele often deal as much as they drive

Also, heard the rage buggy guys were so fed up with the complaints they went and bought Atoms! (one is an SC with tea tray)
