Everyone leaving from MMC? Was planning to depart around 2pm from Falkirk possibly via A706/A721/A70/A73/A702 to Abington then M74 South

Beats the rush hour I hope, plus an early pint before the curry does have a certain attraction :D :cheers

Okay, amended the restaurant booking to 13 people, with Robin, Kelvin & tut not being able to make it.

I've left a seat for Alistair / Kevin, which I'm sure they won't be too bothered whether it's used or not.

Will book the taxis tomorrow afternoon for 20:15.

See y'all in the bar! :beer

I'm not able to leave Aberdeen until around 4pm, so hopefully make it before last orders. Otherwise see you all in the morning.

Cheers

Right then, never mind the forecast for Fri & Sat, the travelling forecast for Thurs is pretty abysmal. Appears worst in the morning (thanks Ross for tipoff!) and so although I hoped to set of sharp, logistics and pax permitting, I think I will sit it out until about 3pm and split then instead. Should still allow for some contingency

You boyz with trailers might want to consider the side-road along the edge of the M74, depending what time you are travelling. Might reduce the x-winds a little (albeit it looks more like mega headwind than anything else, from the charts!).

Don't forget full driving licenses for sign-on.

Officially out now - gutted

Have a very odd rupture/pull/strain of Pectoral which is the most annoying thing ever - sneezing, coughing, turning a steering wheel - even washing my flippin' hair is painful. Had hoped for a miraculous recovery but not happened.

Was really looking forward to catching up with everyone, having a good couple of days out with my big bro and getting a shot of the bath tub around Anglesay - however not to be.

Hope everyone has a great time - I'm sure that goes without saying.

And if Cam has a few beers on Thu/Fri night will someone make sure he gets his pint of water and Ibuprofen BEFORE he goes to bed :-) (Cocoa optional)

Thanks and have fun

Alistair

Looking forward to the drive down....
I " could " trailer it, like the other woofters, or take the 160, but no. I still have the drivers seat to fit, oil system to check, has a wee leak, lights to fix and seal up, spare driveshaft to build, work to setup and check, BT to sort out, thats a long story. I am sure I will be there at some point, for a wee while

Cheers,
Robin

Almost word for word, exactly what Al said to me yesterday when his prognosis was looking poor :-(

I think if we were to be at Spa in the spring (and it's a phenomenally large "if"), then it would be in a Honda this time. Which could be fun. But we'll see eh.
