On hot days they will get chewed up even faster so I would change them, you dont want to miss out on track time trying to get them changed.
Might be an idea to get the geo checked. My car was 9months old before I got Ronnie of CLCM to sort it and it transformed the car! :thumbsup

LOL @ ed missing track time for pad changing - Ed & Tom must have missed 75% of the last FF they were on because they couldn't get their ar$es out of bed in the morning :-)

Check inside pad thickness - that's the critical one - front pads are a piece of pi$$ to change, so buy the replacements and just take them with you - I'll change them in the pitlane in <30 minutes if and when you hit the rumbling grumbling phase on track, just ask!

Just remember that a set of pads last a lot longer than a set of A048s and cost half as much ;-)

Cheers,
Robin

I think you'll find that was FF6. Our last was FF7 and I'm pretty sure I have a photo of us arriving at Ledenon just behind Paul's van (ie before you guys   ).

Tis a very valid point though  :cheers

Don't think I'll risk it with the lotus pads
Does anyone have any experience with the carbone lorriane RC5+ brake pad.

Just changed the front pads to RC6. Feels ok and not as noisy as I thought but grabs the discs hard.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

I was told the RC6 (not sure about the RC5) is known to squeal, give out lots of dust, eat discs but performs great on track.

Okay I must be a prize spanner because I cannot find where to signup online for those sans french bank accounts, even with chrome translating the pages on the fly. Gave them a call today and had to call back as the English speaking person was not avail. Called him, gave him my email via French phonetics (ouch) and I think he must have got it wrong, would not have been hard.
Have dropped them another email, really do not want to be de harnessing at every toll.
