Checking the weather this morning I see that it's to be dry both OP today and Anglesey tomorrow until around 15:00.

Remember, Druids will be super slippery anyway because of rain + leaf + mud that's always on the track there :-)

Have a great day and try to keep the trousers clean ;-) Especially after the sphincter buster that was last night's dinner!!

Cheers,
Robin

The Seloc post says it was today which looks like an EasyTrack day so none of our lot who'll have been nursing their hangovers in Wales

Great 2 days, the 211 is awsome round Oulton, loving it,and Anglsey was also fab, does make you feel a bit sick, its like a big roller coaster. First track day I have not had to put a spanner on th 211, so lets hope I have found the problem. Pishing with rain at 3.30, but I was done by then anyway. Early night tonight, I am back at the premier at Oulton, wasnt doing to drive all the way home in the 211, so booked another night. Think I will sound asleep by 9, heavy few nights.

How prophetic. Most of them missed the briefing, then were too green to drive anyway!

Trac Mon was excellent , in my experience. Really suits the lowly s1 too.

Left as first few spits of rain began. It chased us up the road, a journey which proved far easier than I dared expect.

Really loved Oulton Park, first time there but it won't be my last. Great day right up to my last lap, when I had my first red flag due to a mechanical problem. You can hear the noise towards the end of the Video link below.

As for Anglesey, well that's another story. afraid I was one of the very green group. Really only started to enjoy it after lunch break but the morning session was a bit of a chore. OK I was ill.

Old age certainly catching up, had to stop for a 45 min sleep before we even got out of Wales, made Aberdeen for 11pm and weather wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

You did well to need only a 45 min sleep given how hard you all hit it on Saturday night! I too was surprised how well our journey went. Although could have used a power nap around Chester area, just as weather really closed in. Woke up at 3.30am on Sat...prob before most of the Welsh Invasion Party went to bed

Grateful not to live so far north anymore...was in the Chinese takeaway around 8.30 :thumbsup

300 miles end to end on less than a tank, too. S1's rule...

S2's can do that too ... Egor averaging >40mpg these days due to using S1 gearbox :-)

I think he more or less did...except that Ross took fright when "Refill" showed south of Moffat ;-) We ran a fuel conservation map up to Abington where he only squeezed in 30 litres, so I reckon they were indeed very evenly matched. Despite EGOR's seriously antisocial exhaust note!

Great trip!

The 211 was awesome at both Oulton and Anglesey. Some pad pickup causing brake vibration which limited the braking a bit (and also some early lack of ABS!) but still monumentally fast and fun. My car seema a lot more mobile at the rear than Stu's. :D

I managed to get to bed at a 'reasonable' hour in Wales and drag Scotty up in time for Anglesey, Only felt slightly rough! and getting tired as the day went on (I didn't get 4 hours kip in the van at the circuit). ;)

Great to be in a nice warm van coming up the road though, even got home before midnight. Not bad for towing 470 miles from Anglesey.

What a cracking couple of days!

The little Clio was in its element at Oulton with plently of Elise scalping going on, had Scotty in giggles in the morning when the track was still wet drifting about  Anglesey did not seem to suit the Clio as much, struggling with turn in on the slower speed corners, so much so i called it a day early rather than destroyong the tyres and headed up the road early with Andy and Benny. Home in time to bath Megan at 6.30pm

In fairness to the late arrivals at Anglesey, myself included. Everyone was up but we decided to have breakfast that did not start till 8am

Best of all, great banter...roll on next year :cheers
