Have booked 31st March and 1st April. Lotus show on the Sunday then two days on the airfield... can't wait! Anyone else fancy doing the same?
BTW, there aren't noise restrictions on the airfield are there?

FYI, book Quaity Inn (or any other UK hotels) through this website
http://www.laterooms.com/en/r100_hotels-in-uk.aspx for discounted rates.
No association with website etc.., just personal recommendation based on the numerous occassions I've used the site to book hotel rooms.
Also, when you leave the hotel (turn left out of hotel) to drive to the airfield, be aware of the speed camera 150 yards after the mini r/about!
(I only live 10 mins from Epping, and drive through there regularly)

Considered it, but it's prob a bit early in the year for me.
Needing new discs, and poss. damper - unlikely to get it done by then.

You cant hire the likes of crail/Errol and get him up here can you?
Essex, in a frigging elise, i cant imagine anything worse than a 500 mile schlep in the shed

i can... 500 miles with a dodgy fuel pump and dirty fuel tank followed by at least 5 breakdowns to get there with it eventually giving up the ghost on the airfield. Then a 5:30am wake up by the RAC flatbed to transfer it home followed by a 500 mile Pax to Scotland in an S2 with the roof off and useless heater!
... and im thinking of doing it again... ?????

although I doubt that Dezzy and Scott will want to go down with me!

You forgot to mention missing the first half of the day due to having to twice go to a nearby workshop to get them to file down the inner lip of your front arches to stop the wheels from cracking your clam - you and your crazy lowered suspension!
Anyway, I've been thinking I might fancy another one - even though I'm not sure the first one particularly improved my skills - it just made me aware of how poor they were to begin with.

I'm heading down on 12th May with my wee cousin if you're interested?

Noticed your post on this a few weeks back so could be tempted. Car's been needing some work, but it's booked in with Ali, so will be track-safe by then.
As Ross says, there's only one space left now. Tried logging in but no chance of remembering my password, so will re-register and book it as provisional until I can arrange the time off work.

You certainly can hire Crail (or Knockhill, but that's well expensive)
I'd guess that Walshy would make the trip up if there was enough interest?
Any other interest?

It's been posted before - he doesn't come up here any more, as he can fill his time dahn sarf, plus there are problems getting venues up here (Crail in particular.)
I'm sure you can get instruction at Knockhill from their own people.
