I know the one you mean. It was the very first time I drove the car on the road. You are right, it was freezing. I picked the car a day before, insured, taxed and took it up to Knockhill. I had a number of problems to sort out so I could only do about 10 laps in 4 hours

.
So what kind of car do you drive now?
I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

You deserved a medal for bravery that day. It was abosolutely freezing. I imagine the lights on an xtr would not be great either. It was still pretty dark when i saw you on the edinburgh bypass. I thought i was seeing things
I now drive an M3 on the road and have the red impreza in my avitar as a track day car. The guy who does all the work on it used to work on the WRC cricuit. Very handy to have along on track days. There is not much standard car left now. Its road legal but noisy and uncomfortable. I take it to spa and the ring at least once a year. Its a long drive, good fun though. Im thinking of rallying in the next year or so but ill stick to track days for the mean time.
Love your exige club racer. Looks and sounds amazing. I bet its a blast on track. I really fancied and exige when i bought the M3. Bit harsh on the road though as i cover quite a lot of miles and also did not have enough boot space

Can we be there when he finds out?
Was good to meet you last Sat, Catriona. It was pretty obvious you liked that (soon to be yours) car when you came back into the showroom from your test drive

Happy to Stu, but if KH asks say the kids are 16 or they may not get on.

I checked with KH last time I was there. KH were saying there is no age restriction. It was at the discretion of the paddock marshalls with the main criteria being that helmets and seatbelts fitted properly.
