Is it definitely the 26th September???? is this a Friday???? Just making sure I have the date right before I ask for the day off at work!

I work for BGas and as we sponsor the football phone in and Real Radio sponsor the hairpin at KH, will see if they will donate something.

Also - feedback plse on this - what do you think of someone volunteering to be "The Twig" for the day - y'know, The Stig's twin???? For copyright reasons probably can't advertise that pax can go round the track with The Stig - but maybe with The Twig!!!!!!!! 8)

It would be a riot and a good laugh - would probably be a crowd puller and an even bigger money puller!

We could let people pay to experience going round KH with The Twig and even make it reaslistic by playing language tapes all the way round!!!!!!

Also - £1 a shot for people to use their own camera to get photos of them with "The Twig!"

I tend to go onto overdrive with stupid ideas but sometimes they stick!!!!! What do you think????????????

Yes it is a Friday afternoon.

Great idea about the Twig but where on SE would you find someone slim enough :damnfunny

Happy enough to work with you on that is you can cope with an older fatter Twig

Ok then - so we have the day - what time is it from on the Friday afternoon? Until around???????

Also looks like we have a twig/twix/stump/woody, whatever!!!!

Is this going to be open to the general public to have pax with the twig/twix/stump/woody at the wheel or is it just friends and family. Whoever does it would be great if they had a darkened glass helmet to wear to make it more interesting - disguise their appearance. Obviously would also have to be a big fan of language cd's!!!!!

Might be an awkward day for friends and family to get off - any thoughts on this at all????????

Is that the September weekend holiday for Glasgow by any chance????????

:cheers

Just signed up and posted my donation (and Pauline's BBQ fee). Looking forward to it and will get my fundraising thinking cap on!

I emailed our fundraising committee at work yesterday - it appears they will match what I raise in money for events you
get sponsored for so will let you know. Maybe other companies you all work for would do the same - investigate and report please!

Have sent off email to Top Gear for freebies to raffle so watch this space! :D

Great effort Janet - Diageo did this for us last year also, but worth investigating the t&c's. We managed to satisfy diageo last year as my Uncle was involved in the running of it also - and will be again this year, so they contribute another £1500. :thumbsup The charities concerned also seem to be pretty happy to help where they can with this also :D
