LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES. I'm the drift king, you just went home before i got the hang of the terminal understeer. Robins car had bald front tyres, and it took me a while to sort it out. I raced back into the pits late on but you had already left.

I'm the drifting king - just ask the folk behind me at Bowtrees roundabout!!!!!
After moaning about the back end not moving and getting understeer the bloody thing steps out at me when I least expected it.
Still, 3 rotations of the roundabout sideways comfirms that I am the master.

I did, in my rear view mirror. Decided that it would be best if I came into the pits as I was sure the red flags would be out to recover him from the infield.mckeann wrote:

I'm glad to see my car had some use then (as a drifting championship chariot) despite it's bald tyres (they're not bald, they're legal, and I did tell you, and there was a set of new Advans we could have put on ...).
With the advans in the wet you need to work them hard to get them hot enough; but while they are cold they don't offer much grip - trouble is that when the tyres don't have much tread left it is harder to get them warm in the first place - requires subtlety and finesse

i didnt see anyone else using subtlety and finesse to go through duffus or clarks sideways. the wimps kept doing it at 25mph thru the hairpin.
I know you said you had 2 dodgy tyres, but i thought you said rear, and i checked them and they were fine. obviously i was looking at the wrong ones.
i'm not complaining, your car was much appreciated. It was actually very quick thru the hairpin as everyone else was sideways and i was getting understeer.
