The SLR isn't ready yet so I will take the CR.

Just back from an excellent evening thank you Graham for organising it and managing to squeeze me on track hopefully i didn't hold up too many people. The T1-r were no where near as grippy as the R888 i had on a few weeks ago and felt i was sliding all over the place.

Seconded. Excellent night - great weather and good driving!

Thanks to Andy G for letting me do some laps in the 340 - been away from the track too long - the 340 felt brilliant, albeit I must have been 5s a lap slower than Andy :-)

Popped up the road to the Tormaukin for a swift pint with Iain and Paul and then enjoyed the road back past Powmill and Knockhill and home.

It's a great road, slightly spoiled by a slow-fast-slow motorcycle, but still good fun.

Cheers,
Robin

hey guys,

g, thanks for organising a great night, glad i couldnt sign up as my first night would have had to be a bloody quick one, I timed at least 3 gts lapping in 57's and a whole lot more in the early 60's.

thanks to Ian and Mass for the pax laps.
Ian those ceramics are unreal, your car is awesomly quick, I actually felt sick for about 30 mins after the session squirming around under heavy breaking. It was amazing - thankyou
And thanks to Mass for what can only be described as emotional (hysterical) laps. think it went like (waiting for green light) some good banter then BAM - green light, right left right, big slide, right, slide, right, slide, by this time im howling with laughter, then I realise we are sans tc, then the hairpin and do it all again. It was surreal hunting the turbo and 3rs. Mass - you are indeed the man, thanks for a great session.

Thanks to the new friendly people I met tonight, good to meet a few more se'rs inc the northerners.

Finally, two doh! moments for the night. 1-having a laugh with a group of lads and saying "somebodys come off down past duffus as theres litter all over the track" only foreverybody to laugh and a nameless person to reply, "yip that would be me" (with a wry smile). and 2-young pete jnr spinning his dads exige on his first night. Sort im out Pete.

Top Night,

cheers

:damnfunny :damnfunny That was my husband, Alan! Our tyres arent the best! (neither's he, mind you   )

Was a great night, although a wee bit too far for us Northerners to go for 2 hours!

Thanks to Mass for taking me out in the CR, was great seeing our car from behind and all the flames coming out the back!!

Also thanks to Robin for taking me out in Andy G's 340r. It was a slow start after you getting a talking to before we even left the pitlane (all Andy's fault! ) and one lap in they closed the track for a bit, but was great once we got back on again! :thumbsup

Was great to meet a few new folk too, and also to put more faces to names! :wavey

There were some loverly cars there. Ian, I think I need to get Alan to earn more money so he can buy me one like yours! :D

Finally, a big massive Thank You to Graham for organising the event. You did a fab job! :cheers

Jen

Edit: just noticed Alan has changed my signature.....grrr!!

It was green, if that helps?

I don't think it was anyone we know TBH and he wasn't going _that_ slow in the corners, just too fast for me to overtake in a straight line. Bikes are rubbish :-)

Cheers,
Robin
