(nice avatar pic BTW ;))

TrackScotland often have an instructor available for hire at their events which would be another option. There will be plenty of other cars there on the day that you can go out as a passenger in as well to help learn the lines. I would imagine with the spec of your car, a sub minute lap should be an easily achievable target.

Steve Guglielmi isn't taking part this year, but there's plenty of photos of the car from previous seasons if you do a search :)

Is that one of your pics....? I lifted it from http://www.racingexposure.com/blog/cate ... me-attack/ :) Did you get any more of my car..? Always love a good pic or 12 ;)

Yeah gutted SteveG isn't about this season. I was hoping to cultivate some sort of arrangement with Steve for cheap geo's

Yeah i think if Tit's isn't about I'll track down an instructor or try and blag a passenger ride. I'm such a pussy when not driving though!! HATE not being in control!!!!!

never timed, but going by the vid im lapping in 58's all day. this is with a pax and not pushing 100%. I think with new tyres etc the car could do a 56 easy.

So it turns out that I didn't crack the minute mark :(

Did a minute flat so not too bad for my first time on track there. However when it came to the race I had engine problems and although I had a much better idea of lines by then the car would not perform well. I finished the final with a best lap of........ 6:21 :damnfunny That HAS to be a record!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great track though, slippy when damp though and effin cold up there!!!!

I discovered the new KH kerbs last Tuesday evening!

New front wheel bearing now required! :(

which one did you hit?

I was using them a bit at the chicane, but trying to avoid duffis and carlube. The carlube one is scary when you get it wrong :O

I think i hit them all at some point during the 160odd laps i did that weekend

Carlube??? Do you mean Clark's? ;) They all look scary! :)

I caught the outside kerb at the entry to the chicane and acquired a droning noise afterwards!

I had the BC coilovers set quite stiff which probably didn't help! Probably too stiff, I was all over the place braking into the hairpin! :(

Cheers, Mark
