Reminder - if you've got anything that you think would raise some coin for raffle or auction, don't hesitate to touch me or Andy.
Any sneak peek auction goodies ?

Is there a fbook event for this I can pass on to friends who might want to come to buy flying laps etc ?

I notice on the donations page it mentions that there will not be arranged passenger laps in specific cars like before. Is this kind of thing still happening but in a different format? Just from the point of view of inviting friends etc enticed with the oportunity of some pax laps.

Hi Ferg,

That's right. In previous years, the supercars have proved a great attraction, but it's a double edged sword - the amount of time and hassle on the day organising 3-5 specific cars as pax carriers has been huge (not to mention making sure people give them a wide berth so the passengers get their money's worth) compared to the actual amount they raise. To counter that this year, we've asked for a donation per passenger for all paxes - looking at it, this will actually make more money for the charity.

There is nothing, of course, to stop you organising some pax runs with some of the quick boys beforehand, but we've had to take a decision to not organise it ourselves this year - it was a major time and organisational issue last year (not to mention hard on the supercars and drivers in question)

Needless to say, Andy will be there, Gambler has also said he'll be there with 600bhp this year and happy to take out paxes - worth contacting guys directly if you want to be sure, but there will be time in the pits to approach folk. I'm awaiting notification from a few other guys to see what else will be showing up - of course, there will still be the usual suspects to slot your friends in for a thrill ride!

That's us hit 2 Grand in straight donations this morning and over £2.5K when you take Gift Aid into account! Awesome work folks! Keep it coming, but don't leave it too late - that's bags of spaces gone already!

This might justify an afternoon off work to come along and watch the fun with the kids. I will also try especially hard to negotiate a pass to get along to the Wrap Party at Boroughmuir for a change ;-) Tried hard last year but something came up last minute IIRC.

Unfortunately I can't yet say if UJI would be track-ready with enough spondulicks left in the maint fund to risk a track day at that time...but you've got me thinking...

Went round today and the grass was knee high so he is grounded. Bloody embarrassing though, door was locked so I could not get in, bursting for a pee so went into the back garden, back door opens and his house mate who has never met me before is faced by a stranger watering his lawn.

Good luck in stopping me :D You didn't tell me this was up, only just realised. Excited!
