Knockhill have just cancelled Saturday's bike track day. They're going to review the weather tomorrow for Sunday's car track day

Knockhill would try to offer us an alternative date, but if you couldn't make that date, then we would offer you a refund or carry forward the money paid as a credit towards a future event, whichever was your preference

Current forecast is light snow for most of the week and temps barely getting above freezing at KH. Fingers crossed the snow doesn't get too deep.

Oh ye of little faith.

My personal forecast for Saturday.

Slight easterly breeze (will feel baltic as usual though). Light cloud cover, breaking at times to give sunny intervals. Air temp around 3 - 5 C with no cloud breaks, higher if breaks multiply.

Track Temp 5C again a little higher if the sun gets out to play.

More important is if the cloud breaks at night. If it does and it gets frosty then KH will salt the track which will in turn make it treacherous and more difficult for it to dry out.

Alternatively. If Tut's feet are blue we may have traction issues....

Track covered again, more snow forecast today and all day tomorrow with temps below zero Friday night and Saturday morning.

I think an early outbreak of common sense from KH on this one would be appreciated and reschedule it, the weather clearly isn't going to improve in the next 48 hours.
