I'm off on friday. Got a meeting in perth at 10 till prob 12 at the latest. I live in falkirk though which is kinda on the way for you guys. It's a big one so gotta take the van and go in uniform, so i wouldn't be able to take the Elise and leave from Perth. I was looking to get down in enough time to get some dinner and a bleather at the bar. Probably say 1 o clock in Falkirk i'll be ready to leave. What time were you thinking about yourself??

We were keen to leave early and get there in daylight using the good roads, couple of stops, make the most of the hotel, etc.

I was thinking about leaving Aberdeen 8ish which would be too early for you. I'll see what tut says.

Cheers,
Ali

No probs, if you boys want to leave early it's cool. :) I'll print off a map and blast down myself at 1. But if your not fussed and dont mind leaving falkirk at 1, i'll meet you guys for the run.

Ether way we'll sort out mobile phone numbers etc on a pm nearer the time.

Checked the AA map. It says it's 6hrs 27 from Falkirk to the hotel in eastfield. We'd get down way quicker than thet though . When i go to Doncaster i can take about an hour off the time and that's in a van!! Then it's only 12 mins from the hotel to the circuit.

I'm angling to get out of work early (fecking should do, with the weekends I've been putting in recently) But it will probably only be about 3pm at the earliest. Wouldn't count on it, either.

I'll probably be showing up about midnight (taking a quick bite to eat into the equation)

Answered on Yahoo, but for the benefit of the BB'ers...

Happened right at the end of the day (thankfully) Silly wee low speed one - nothing major damaged, just cosmetics. Track was getting slippy again (started out icy and had got grippy as the sun cleared it - the sun had just about gone, by this stage)

Had a pax for the first time in the day and had been struggling with understeer. Just had a silly low speed lockup at the old hairpin and was a passenger to the scene of the accident as soon as i touched the grass. Just a wee nerf into the tyres...

So, new screen and gaffer tape on the clam for now. Will scout ebay for clams in the new year...
