If you have a look at the last track you could easy give it a miss and head north a day early or head off straight after the track day and get some miles in.

Long way but worth it I would think.

A French guy called Francois shows up every year at the Frolic with the same car in the same colour. I've been out in the pax seat with him at Mas du Clos, must have been my scariest track experience ever. (easily beats the one with Scott at Pau last year)
Not sure if it's the car not being suitable for track or the driver though. :blackeye
You planning to go on track with it?

thats definitely francois's fault, not the car. Although a standard mx5 wont be as fast as an elise, it doesnt mean you cant hussle it round safely and in control :D

Yes, he's a nice guy but he doesn't seem to be able to drive the same lap (good or bad) twice ... very odd .... however, mostly harmless and so long as he's having fun, who cares!

On the plus side it is very likely that you will be the fastest MX5 on track :-)

Cheers,
Robin

Blooming heck, I've missed a whole load of stuff. Need to sit down and digest it. Still a bit wary of taking the R8 on this, I'm not sure I'm rich enough!!
