What's that in Church of Scotland? Presumably 50mg alcohol per 100ml of blood?shooomer wrote:This puts me off driving in France

6. The alcohol limit has remained at 0.5 grammes, not reduced to 0.2 as thought

I just fancied being a live for the rest of the week. In all honesty I think I'd rather be doing another track dayalicrozier wrote:Not getting out of Amsterjam that easily mate!Andy G wrote:was anyone tempted by Ecuyers on the Saturday, after Zandervort?![]()

Bit of info re. Sanef and their Telepeage.
Last year I received a letter from Sanef telling me, more or less, that as my credit card details had lapsed my contract was void and that new contracts for non-Frenchies would require a credit card originating with a French provider.
That was a real pisser as the telepeage is really useful especially for rhd lotus without a passenger to work the card machine...Anyway I called them up today and they accepted my new card details advising that my contract would be live in 48 hours. Job done.
Phone number is 0033970808709 option 1 then 1 then 2 and you'll get through to an operator who may well speak engerish.
Not long now
take care,
Frank

That's good news Frank!
I didn't have an account previously ( used Pet039s for last years Frolic ) but managed to set one up online up a few minutes ago.
They now have an english language web-site dedicated to UK users
https://pilot.saneftolling.co.uk/
Just need UK bank account details to set up a direct debit.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Re: FRENCH FROLIC 10 - 21/8 to 28/8
Right.
Thinking about it, I'm probably going to book a ferry for the Sunday so I can have a few shandies on the Friday night at the party and have a long-ish lie on the Saturday.
That means booking a hotel somewhere closer to Amsterdam for the Saturday night.
Anyone else thinking similar or are those leaving on the Saturday doing a 5am start and blasting up the road??
Cheers!
Dave.

Leaving last track at midday Friday - drive into the Alps - couple of laps of Ring on Saturday - Spa F1 on Sunday - ferry on Monday evening. FFS
Re: FRENCH FROLIC 10 - 21/8 to 28/8
I don't see much benefit from a return ferry seeing as we would be driving past the Chunnel anyway. You wouldnt save much mileage and its quite a bit more expensive.
