Hi,

This newbie was planning to drive down to Kames to meet some of you and because Martin (Lazydonkey) had offered to show me how the (knackered) heater on the VX works. I'll be leaving from the SE Technology Park (the old NEL) in EK (last but one roundabout before leaving EK towards Strathaven). It's a pig to get out onto the Strathaven Road at 5, and it doesn't make much sense for me to head towards Busby to come back again. So, can I try to get out of work before the rush-quarter-hour and pick you guys up as you pass? I reckon the lay-by at the right turn towards Auldhouse would be a suitable place to wait.

Cheers, Rob

Martin, I'm just the other side of Kirkton Campus (near the Alba campus), how about I meet you at the Morrisons/B&Q car park (assuming you know where that is!)?

An hour should do it fairly easily, it took me about that last time leaving from Linlithgow which is about 10 miles further.

If you want, my work is at EH54 7EJ - you won't be able to miss the Exige. Basically follow Simpson Parkway round from Sky, then take the right signposted for the 5 sisters zoo, then it's the small industrial estate on the right - easy

Or Morrisons is here: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x ... search.srf

yeah yeah..... would if I could.

Got to be in Clydebank at 3.30 now in work mode... and unlikely to get finished there until 4.30-5pm.... which makes it kinda tricky to get down to Kames in time in the elise.....

It'd be a lot easier for me to finish early if you lot would all start spending 50k+ per month on AV kit... so pull your fingers out and go and have a word with your IT/Facilities type peeps and tell them they need new video conferencing or projectors or something!!!!!!

Hi,

About a mile after the Crutherland Hotel, road goes uphill and there's a (I think) couple of houses on the right at the end of a road that goes to the school and pub in Auldhouse. I'm pretty sure there's a layby on the left - anyway, there aint gonna be two red VXs are there! Don't worry if you miss me (work is piggish this week) I'll find Kames eventually.

Then how about the main car park at Caldergen country park? Off the Strathaven Rd as you leave East Kilbride.
