If the last time is anything to go by, be there for about 11.00am then  :)

EK is a bit of a detour for me heading through from the East so I'll just catch you guys there. Maybe meet you en route as I think I'll go down the Strathaven road this time :thumbsup

After the fiasco last week, does anyone know if the Strathaven - Muirkirk road is open/closed/closed but actually open ?

Not sure about Strathaven - Muirkirk but there are planned closures of the A71 over the weekend - think this is past Strathaven so you would need to turn off onto the Muirlirk road at Strathaven anyway to avoid.

One of my staff lives in Muirkirk and she says the B743 Strathaven-Muirkirk Road was open this morning. If not, the signed diversion that we took the other night was mince and a much quicker route was only signposted in the Muirkirk to Strathaven direction. Actually you could still get to Muirkirk by taking the A71 from Strathaven to Drumclog, then left onto a B road that runs from Drumclog to Dungavel and joins the B743 on the Muirkirk side of where the road was supposed to be closed. Closer to Muirkirk be aware that there might still be temporary traffic lights where a truck went off the road and took a chunk of the carriageway with it. Have fun, wish I could be there, but I have to settle for a week sipping Chianti in Rome.

Not sure but think that is the bit that is closed for weekend roadworks.

Now not meeting in EK, just in case anyone was thinking about it. We need to go pick up Heather's cousin who's coming along with us, so we'll see y'all at Kames :thumbsup

Well i awoke in chez woody this morning after what felt like 3 minutes sleep (big thanks to woody's floor and nizzy's snoring :thumbsup ), minus a big chunk of hair  , with a stinking sore head and a general feeling of unwell. :( Another result for killie beers

So i took the executive decsion to b*gger off back to glasgow and go to bed :thumbsup Hope my non-appearance meant someone got on who wouldnt have been stopping every 10 mins to be sick

Hope you all had fun - looks like you got cracking weather for it. 8)
