Just had a mild panic this morning when I saw that the road in front of my lock-up has been dug up to make a 4ft deep trench - "OMFG, how the fark am I gonna get the Snot out for tomorrow!?"

Had visions of taking the RS6 on (not so bad, being wet  )

Had a wee chat with one of the hi-vis vest chappies and all shall be normal later this afternoon - phew 8)

Just got back after a fun morning. Thanks to all who gave me pax-laps today. I really enjoyed them, and the day. I'm definitely driving the next one though.

well i got in about an hour ago

One of the caterham racers broke something and he might of been a quick driver but he was a little bit pap as a mechanic so myself and myles got roped into taking the suspension off one corner of the car.

Was a good day apart from the red flags in the last hour, cant believe how wrong the weather forecast was although the wet conditions were quite fun at times.

Good to see so many loti on track, seemed to have no one to play with most of the time however. Ed might try to tell you lies but he wasnt catching me in the slightest no matter how much I slowed to let him catch up

Glad that car started eventually Mac, was enjoying our laps together when other cars were not getting in the way.

Apologies to the yellow Elise (sorry I missed your name  ) I undertook out coming out of the hairpin, I honestly thought you were pitting.

Cooked my brake fluid mid way through which meant a big lay off unitl it cooled, never had that happen before even with 25+ hard laps on Pagids, I blame Mac for suggesting that the lack of the usual BRAKE! boards at the hairpin mean you should brake at the 50m marker

Itching to get back on track already.

Really enjoyed today's session, best I've done so far. Today was the first time I've managed to get some instruction, and I now wish I had done so sooner, now much happier with the line from Duffus entry through to the chicane. Even my spin at Clarks (my first in the VX) didn't feel too bad

Nice to meet a few more of you, apologies to anyone I inadvertently held up! I should also apologise for all of the red flags, at about 11.30 I commented to my friend how impressed I had been by the lack of red flags - cue disaster

Kenny, that Stage 2 on your car sounds fantastic, I've got a test drive of an S2 Exige with one fitted booked for next weekend at Murray, need to keep the chequebook well away...

Had a lot of fun loved it when the dryline started to apear and every lap you go a little faster :D

Took the instructor out who gavee me some pointers also had a nice slide infront of Ali at clarks :D

On a more worring note I was getting low oil pressure on 2nd cam and on idle so I stopped early - sorry to those that wanted pax laps. I am praying its the sensor playing up will be investagating next week :(

Great session again, thanks John and the SIDC crew. Had to leave quarter of an hour before the end so missed most of the red flag mayhem. Very pleasant the way you actually got more grip thru the morning as things dried, wonderful fun.

colin

ps and the MIL light has stayed out on the new ECU.
