Still a vigin on the track. Have only done 2 myself and 19 March will be my third. Have not done dedicated Trackday instruction but did use the intructor provided on SIDC day last year, which was a great help, as was pax laps with others. Do not worry if it rains as this keeps speed down. Just ensure that level of ability remains above level of confidence

I can confirm that the skid marks were not only through the kitty litter. Hence the strange gait back toward the car before driving off with half a tonne of gravel in the undertray and another half tomme of 'dubs' in the offside wheels...Extra weight and steering wobble ensured remainder of session was uneventful.

John makes a list of reserves, so make sure that you both get on it. If you are up at the top you will almost certainly get on on the day.
