Would be interested if any of our tame racing drivers or track day regulars would care to comment, embellish, or write their own...?

Great site Mr Boag!

I'm not entirely sure all their race suits are totally fire proof,... but happy to take a closer look :D

Whats the thinking? 2 nights there?

I was toying with 1 and then trying to get part way to Anglesey, so I dont have as far to go in the morning?

Earlier in thread Ross suggests Thurs and Fri both at Sandiways. I know Robin is a fan of "leave at silly oclock in the morning and drive straight to the track". Also carries the advantage that newbies to Oulton (like me) can stagger back for shower etc and not worry about driving any further that day!

No experience of the area though, so need to take guidance from those of you who've been. I'm told there are precious few places to stay near Anglesey anyway...having said that, Holyhead Travelodge is £23.50 per room per night on the Friday! But is there anywhere credible for a team meal nearby...

Or PremierInn Bangor - £29 for a twin. Table Table restaurant on site too...

I take the view that there is no particular rush to get to Anglesey in the morning - worst case you end up taking the second briefing ... thus staying two nights in Northwich.

Cheers,
Robin

With you Robin, just didnt fancy adding 100 miles to get to Anglesey in to the day, if spending it on track and then driving back to Edinburgh.

Hoping to take the Atom, it wouldnt bother me really in the GT3, but the Atom is knackering to drive. Will need to get fitter again!
