Happy to help you out at very competitive rates.

What do you propose Tut? I'm interested.

I'd be interested but 1400 miles on the motorway in the Exige isn't my idea of a good time! Would hiring the CL 111r be sufficiently similar to my n/a Exige seeing how they are pretty much the same?

I'll take the 4th space if available.
if anyone has driving tips for Edinburgh to London in an Elise please share!
Is it better to find some interesting roads and take longer or insert earplugs and hit the A1???

Depart Edin 3am. A68 to Newcastle, A1 most of rest of way. Crazy but it works. So Robin says anyway ;-)

I've done it once. Albeit in winter. He was right...

Why could they not let me stay here until I peacefully passed on, even had a plot booked in the Cemetery.

Plans had already been made for a great Wake in 202?, which would have nicely fitted in with Tut Towers Tut End.

Stop press.

One space has become available on this - sadly Ferg had to bail to fund, ahem, improvements to his recently purchased and previously, ahem, cherished Exige ;-)

I negotiated a small discount for the event, from the regular £220, to £200 per car.

Friday 14th August. Full day, North Weald.

Myself, Les and Mark (Dark) remain booked on and are fixing up Premier Inn twin rooms nearby (Harlow) for the night before - so a bed is also available, probably for less than £30.

Please PM me if interested, otherwise I'll release the place back to Walshy to fill.

It was a mixture of funds and available time to spend fixing it before the trip. Best to pull out now than later. This was a bucket list thing for me so disappointing. But there's always next year! :-)

Hope you all have fun!!

Had an excellent day but I have still got a lot to learn. I think it would be beneficial to do another in the near future but I have to get my car set up better for the next one.

I home you all got on to your final destinations ok, I got home at 3am but was nearly stopping and booking into a hotel by midnight. I was glad I made it home though, my back was like I had been picking tatties for 12hours, broken...
If it aint broke, dont fix it....

Good to see that you made the most of it and enjoyed Walshy's unique brand of tuition.

Don't worry, you never stop learning.
