Dates for other commitments changed so can now make this! Been a while since I've done Knockhill and 2-eleven needs an outing. :)
Pax welcome as usual, full face helmet needed.

RossM wrote:Hi
I have recently got my Elise and joined the forum. I was recommended to come to a trackday to see what I can get out of the car. I dont think either me nor the car are ready to go on the track yet but I was wondering if its still possible to come along to the day and perhaps one of you kinds gents would take me out as a passenger to give me some idea?
Doesn't look like you're short of passenger lap offers, but also welcome to join me (Green Elise Cup - must update my thumbnail, but I miss the old purple one!)

Something you might want to consider later is that Knockhill do driver experience sessions where you can take your own car out under instruction. I did that before my first trackday and it was a really good intro. Not cheap, but dedicated instruction and track was near empty when I did, apart from a few other driver experience people (slowest drive Ferrari ever; probably only time I'll ever lap one!) You could ask the KH guys about that while there. They also have an Exige as a driver experience car and they are not shy of it being pushed to the limit... :)

just to confirm, SIDC usually has 40 cards, does that mean we have passed the 50% Lotus requirement again...
