My daughter, Karen, will be doing this in the race Mini (only one seat). But it will be her first trackday and I was wondering if I could ask a favor of anyone willing to take her out for a few laps (without scaring her too much) just so she get the idea of lines, being overtaken, and track etiquette, etc.
David,
No problem - send Karen over to me for a few pax laps.
Kevin

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

If anyone is looking for a slot, the reserve list has been exhausted and there's someone else who can no longer make it.

Looking for an SE courier on Saturday, Knockers to Aberdeen, anyone live near Seaton Place East in Aberdeen and able to drop off a small package for me? Thank you please!
I can take it up with me, but won't be in ABZ until Monday. I work near the AECC (2 miles from Seaton) so the recipient could pop out to collect at their convenience?

I was planning on taking G up to this for a spin round the track but sadly rules have changed recently. Just spoke to KH and passengers must be over 14 years old.

That’s such a shame! He would have loved it too. How old is he again?

Great day, blew up the gearbox, but only with a minute to go. Two tanks of petrol used so no other minutes wasted.
Thanks to John for organising.

Cars of the day were racing Ferrari and McLaren 650s spyder. Awesome colour.
Only got to see a few people in person, and for short time, due to KH rules on no kids in pit lane - had James with me. Sorry to miss you altogether Tut, hope you had a blast.

Great day on track, thanks to John for organising and arranging the weather.
Good to meet up and see some old faces.
Between Gordon and myself the car managed 130 miles on track but the clutch release bearing is now very noisy.
Made the most of the weather and came home the scenic route via Crieff, Dunkeld, Pitlochry, Glenshee, the Lecht and the Cabrach.
Roll on the next one!

Glad you all had a great day in perfect weather. I spent more time chatting to people than taking photos for once, so not do many as usual. I've put a small selection of photos in an FB album, will add more tonight when I get home.
