Not sure of the exact specs, but its about 170kg 180bhp, and sticky "use for a race the bin" tyres. Serious machine, and not far off BSB spec now. That time was from the 04 season when the bike was running to stock rules

Booked! But all the 'intermediate' places were taken; only semi-expert; expert or novice left.

I picked semi-expert and it shows as intermediate on the list. I only picked it cos I didn't think I was a novice

I reckon that a track day at East Fortune is cheaper than a "sport racer" that Derek has gone on about all weekend, so I'll quite happily give the birthday night out a miss!

...and I'm assuming you spectators are ok ?
I was planning to come along for a wee swatch (financially embarrased at the moment

)
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.
....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

Not read the full thread on Yahoo, so maybe this is old news, but...
I had a chat with the guy from Javelin yesterday. It turns out that this was only to be a 1/2 day at £89, but their web guy put a full day on the site in error. By the time it was noticed, a load of places had been sold.
They've also sold 12 placed to another club (he didn't say who), so that'll be 60 cars in total, and at 10 cars per track mile, 16 on the track at any one time.
Seems like a genuine guy on the phone, who is looking to do more at E/F, and was surprised at the quick take up.

Well he can thank us for the quick take up. Most are SE'rs. 23 Lotus's.
Will not be impressed paying £89 for 3 hrs if it's a half day.
IMO 60 cars will be too much for that track and I'm not going if we can only go out in groups for a certain amount of time i.e. not open pit.

It shouldn't be a surprise to the guy, price it competitively and he will fill the days. Got to be better for him in the long term than a half empty day at twice the price...
Being a full day even the stalwarts won't be on track the 'whole' time but with only 16 cars on track 60 seems to be pushing it.
It's a longer track than KH, is 10 cars per mile normal?

I wouldnt pay £89 to drive across Scotland for 3 hours on a track.
I dont know anything about numbers on a track etc so cant comment, and from what you have said Derek I take it they wont be cutting it down to a half day now folk are booked as the error was at their end?
