I agree that if someone is overtaking on the wrong side into the hairpin then you should have a word with the marshalls.I was up spectating and despite it looking really busy most driving standards looked pretty high.
I wouldn't worry too much about going into the garvel. Most have done it a some point and still do.
Tis the main reason I have never fitted a front splitter to my car. I know I will just break it at some point. Knockhill should maybe do more novice tracknights but I guess they prefer busy nights with more paying customers. Wet trackdays are the best for quiet sessions.
