After a similar last minute hassle before Frolic a couple of years ago I bought a couple of used S1 shafts to keep as spares in the garage in case I ever needed them.

In case yours do not arrive & assuming your current shaft will get you to Glasgow your welcome to swap at Chez Uncleron & use mine if you want....

I've got some work stuff to do around Glasgow tomorrow morning and hoping to get on my way to Norfolk early PM.

Change of plan :

Pete has pointed out that the traffic will be really heavy on the outskirts of Edinburgh due to the Royal Highland Show at Inglistone.

Craig will be glad to hear that Pete, Frank and myself are now planning to meet at the Abingdon Services( M74/J13 ML12 6RG ) at 13:30.
- assuming no last minute issues with aircon, dipstick, geo, batteries, etc

Awesome. I see there's been a lorry fire on the M1 which has damaged the road surface and they don't know when it will re-open yet. No doubt it will send the whole of England into disarray as we travel down tomorrow.
